Having spent 25 years in the fundraising business, I have made the acquaintance of so many terrific people who have dedicated their careers to working for organizations that help people in need.  It is my desire to acknowledge them all and in some small way continue to do my part by offering up an item for sale that will benefit some of my favorite charities.

Since February of this year, 20% of the net proceeds of this champagne flute have been earmarked for organizations that focus on breast cancer research and early detection.  The proceeds will be shared between the Hurwitz Breast Cancer Fund at Frederick Memorial Hospital and Susan G. Komen for the Cure.  The campaign will continue through October, National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
